Tolko Slave Lake Biomass Offset Project

The project uses waste biomass to generate thermal energy that is required to heat the adjoining OSB mills’ dryers, log ponds,building and on-site steam generator. The opportunity for generating carbon offsets arises primarily from direct reductions of GHG emissions by displacing fossil fuel usage with biomass. The Project will not claim credits for the diversion of feedstock from landfill.
