Terra Verde’s Agricultural Carbon Credit Program is a means for Terra Verde to aggregate agricultural carbon offsets from the purchase of those offsets from Producers. The carbon offsets are generated from direct and indirect GHG emissions when no-till and reduced-till farming practices are implemented, and are quantified in accordance with the Quantification Protocol for Tillage System Management Version 1.3 Province of Alberta, February 2009 set by Alberta Environment. This project is a result from actions taken on or after January 1, 2002.
