Low Consistency Refining (LCR) Project

The Slave Lake Pulp (SLP) Low Consistency Refining (LCR) Project or LCR Project was designed to reduce electricity and natural gas consumption in the pulping process. The LCR project consists of replacement of high consistency refining stage with low consistency refining stage to reduce electricity consumption in the pulp refining stage.
