ERCO Worldwide produces sodium chlorate via an electrolysis process. Greenhouse Gas emissions reductions occur through energy efficiency gains achieved through process and equipment improvements. Electricity consumption reduction is achieved by: i) the use of more energy efficient equipment (anodes and cells); and, ii) operational changes including adjustments to cleaning practices and operational scheduling.
