The objective of the Ember Resources (“Ember”) Pneumatic Controller Retrofit Program (“The Project”) was to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from pneumatic instrumentation by replacing existing high bleed pneumatic controllers with low bleed pneumatic controllers. The installation of low bleed pneumatic controllers reduces the venting of natural gas (primarily methane) from the use of pressurized natural gas to operate the pneumatic instrumentation systems.
